Not quite a blinding lime green, more of a cheerful spring and summer outdoorsy tone. It\u2019s the color a child might use to color grass in a coloring book. It\u2019s fun and buoyant&#8211;perfect for your New Year decor.<\/p>\n<p>So with that in mind, the 2017 New Year decor will feature elements like those in the <a href=\"http:\/\/thehappyhousie.porch.com\/spring-ifying-the-living-room\/#\">photo above<\/a>. That means bright green throw blankets, bright green rugs, green elements on throw pillows, and green features in paintings and other wall hangings. Bright green accent walls will also be huge.<\/p>\n<p>One idea is to, of course, try to bring in elements of green by reupholstering furniture.
