It’s official. Pantone named their 2017 color of the year, and it’s called “Greenery.” It’s a bright, cheery green. Not quite a blinding lime green, more of a cheerful spring and summer outdoorsy tone. It’s the color a child might use to color grass in a coloring book. It’s fun and buoyant–perfect for your New Year decor.
So with that in mind, the 2017 New Year decor will feature elements like those in the photo above. That means bright green throw blankets, bright green rugs, green elements on throw pillows, and green features in paintings and other wall hangings. Bright green accent walls will also be huge.

I’m so happy that they chose this color because I love the earthy, springy green that they have chosen.
