It’s official. Pantone named their 2017 color of the year, and it’s called “Greenery.” It’s a bright, cheery green. Not quite a blinding lime green, more of a cheerful spring and summer outdoorsy tone. It’s the color a child might use to color grass in a coloring book. It’s fun and buoyant.
So with that in mind, 2017 will feature elements like in the photo above. That means bright green throw blankets, bright green rugs, green elements on throw pillows and green features in paintings and other wall hangings. Bright green accent walls will also be huge.

I’m so happy that they chose this color because I love the earthy, springy green that they have chosen. I just moved to a new city and will be having my living room and bedroom done by Furnishr ( http://www.furnishr.com if anyone is interested). I think the living room set that I have chosen has this color in it! The best part is they are going to set it all up for me and take the mess away in one day.
