We’ve covered bright hues for incorporating color into a room, but that still leaves the neutral colors. Brown especially has it’s own unique color associations. It’s a warm, earthy color that denotes nature and stability.
It’s especially soothing when it’s combined with natural tones of green, and has the ability to create an outdoorsy feel when used in such a way. When it’s used with other neutral colors, like white and black, it can create a feel of regal comfort. And it’s easy to incorporate rich hues of brown in wood accents, as the photo above shows. Those brown shades would look stunning with complementary furniture.
