Using Leather to Go Rustic in this Restaurant Design

The gorgeous rustic seating area above is a project by Techné Architecture + Interior Design, and it’s a feature from the blog Italian Bark. The bar itself is called The Nelson. It’s at St Kilda in Australia. The whole bar itself went for a rustic and industrial look. The seating fits right in, as the straps give it a makeshift, rustic look. The swank upholstery leather texture sits on some rustic knotted wood and industrial metal bench legs.

What’s interesting about this look is that many people think upholstery leather textures are for luxury styles. But this shows how leather can complement a rustic and/or industrial look perfectly.
